Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to visit Alpha Chi Omega Theta Psi Chapter!

With over 150 sisters, the Theta Psi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega has allowed me to truly expand my community at Columbia University. Before joining this chapter, I had no idea the impact it would have on my college experience. From the very first night with my new sisters, I felt at home. Attending Columbia means that I am challenged every day, not only by my classes, but also by the community. I am proud to say that my Alpha Chi Omega sisters challenge me and help me become a better person.

As my semesters here at Columbia pass by, I become even more inspired by my sisters. We are dedicated to each other, our chapter, our community, and our philanthropy. My sisters’ leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to service leave me in awe every day. I am so grateful for everything Alpha Chi Omega has given me. From sisters I only knew for one semester to the ones that I know will be with me for a lifetime, Alpha Chi Omega has enhanced my college experience by an immeasurable amount.

Please reach out, look around our website, and learn more about our chapter.

Goals

Our national mission statement lists four key benefits we receive at Alpha Chi. On top of a sisterhood, we aim to develop our friendship, leadership, learning, and service.

Friendship

Nationally, there are over 200,000 Alpha Chis. That’s a strong network of sisters and friends to rely on. At Columbia, we kinder the friendship that forms between the 150 or so of us, into ones that will last across the world and for a lifetime.

Leadership

Some notable Alpha Chis include Alyson Hannigan from HIMYM and Condoleezza Rice, the former Secretary of State. On campus, we have club executive board members, sports team captains, and non-profit founders. We support and encourage the women in our chapter to take hold of the leadership roles they deserve.

LEARNING

Being in Alpha Chi is not just philanthropy, sisterhood, and social events. It’s lifelong learning. We host workshops to educate our sisters about cultural diversity, healthy relationships, mental well-being, in addition to others.

SERVICE

Passion for our philanthropy is integral to being an Alpha Chi. Our work towards Domestic Violence Awareness and Support include partnerships with local NYC charities such as the Joyful Heart Foundation and Womankind.
